I’m looking forward to presenting pre-concert talks for the Chicago Symphony’s season-opening concerts, September 17-19, 2026. The program features Hilary Hahn performing the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto along with works of Robert Schumann (Overture to Manfred) and Antonín Dvořák (Symphony No. 5). Each talk takes place in the hall beginning 75 minutes before the orchestra’s performance.
